I'm sorry to hear about your mum. It's a heartbreaking experience for the person with the disease and everyone around them. Your mum was lucky to have such wonderful support from her family.

Yes, there were lots of times we didn't let facts get in the way of feelings. Especially toward the end, when my friend believed we were at an event instead of realizing we were watching it on television. She was overjoyed to think we were dancing with the Rolling Stones. I couldn't see any reason to take that joy away from her.
